An?exquisite moonstone ring from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era!?This beautiful handcut moonstone cabochon?displays a wonderful translucence and rests?in an open backed 6 prong setting, allowing the light to pass through and create soft blue iridescent flashes. Completing the design is a smooth and simple?rosy?gold band that tapers up with an open edge at the top of the setting. A lovely and romantic antique ring, it has a very special look?and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements:?The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could be easily resized. The moonstone measures approximately 5/8" wide?and tall, and rests about 3/8" high. The gold band measures 2mm wide at bottom and tapers up to 4.5mm at top before meeting the moonstone.
Condition:?The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting.?The moonstone is intact and securely set.
