After decades of loyal service, New Balance is finally ready to sunset the original version of the ever-reliable 991. With it's younger sibling 991v2 now on the scene, the OG finally gets some well-earned R&D.

To see this hardworking sneaker off, New Balance's UK design team headed by Sam Pearce developed the 'Finale' set as a final send-off.

Built off a unique diamond perforated nubuck base, the uppers are constructed with the finest suedes that the team could source. Executed in rich brown and beige tones this classy combination does justice to the 991's history as a shoe which can 'do both'—performing as a casual sneaker which cleans up nicely when it's time to throw-on a nice shirt.
